camellia daydreaming is a series of portraits of three loose-leaf teas. Shǔi Xiān, or “Water Sprite” is a Chinese rock oolong which is grown only in the high elevations of the Wu Yi mountains, and offers potent mineral notes in its brew. Bái Mǔ Dān, or “White Peony” is a Chinese white tea, which offers a gentle and sweet brew full of delicate floral tones. Finally, Kukicha, or “Twig Tea” is a Japanese green tea made of the stems of the tea leaves, which brews bright and grassy, and conjures a lively summery forest scene.
